Formed in August of 2004 as an effort of the Metropolitan Washington Bankers
Group, the Northern Virginia Affordable Housing Alliance is comprised of
financial institutions, community based organizations, government agencies
and other stakeholders concerned about the production and preservation of
affordable housing in Northern Virginia. The mission of the organization is
to create diverse, economically vibrant communities throughout Northern
Virginia through affordable housing advocacy and education.
